Mutual Aide Training with Lanco 52 MAY 14 - This Monday was a busy one for the West Volunteers. The PA DOH is now issuing Photo ID EMT cards to help with identification of all EMT's within the state. Monday night, The CCDES came out to Station 28 to issue these new cards. All members of the department arrived at 1800 to begin receiving the new cards. Car Fire In The Boro MAY 13 - This Sunday, Shortly after lunch time, Engine 28 was alerted along with Station 26 for an AFA on Zion Hill Road. Engine 28 responded with a crew of 4 with a crew staying back for Rescue 28. Engine 26-1 arrived to the AFA and reported a false activation and reduced the rate of Engine 28. Nick made the decision to become part of the 1% who volunteers to serve our nations military. Lower Valley Road Accident APRIL 24 - On this evening at 1834 the Consolidated Fire Department of Atglen for an Engine, Parkesburg for an Rescue and Ambulance were dispatched for a vehicle accident. Engine 26-3 and Rescue 28 responded at 1837 with full crews, and Pomeroy Ambulance 29-3 responded as part of the assignment around the same time.
